Trying to find someone to build me a 22-250 custom varmit rifle. I know there are some great guys from this site. I need some names and contacts

I am not sure which gunsmiths are members here but I have had rifles built by Jon Beanland Beanland Rifles and Greg Young Southern Precision Rifles and have nothing but high praise for both of these guys.

Greg has built me two rifles and Jon has built me one with another to be complete in April.


Since you are in the notion for a 22-250, I too am having one built and I'm going to have Robert Gradous Gradous Rifles build me a 22-250

Also, I'm having Greg Tannel Gre Tan Rifles build me a 20 Tac

I don't think you could go wrong with any of these men.

Do a search on Gradous rifles. I guarantee you will see nothing but praise about both Robert and his rifles. I have spent 10s of thousands on having custom rifles built by all the well known smiths and please learn from the money I have spent that he is the best. David

Bob Green in york pa. a benchrest shooter and smith that has set records hisself and with rifles built by him reasonable prices and turnaround. he has built 4 or 5 rifles for me or friends and would use him again

"Redneck", eddief, Mickey Coleman are three that come to mind. There are others that post here as well but my mind just went blank. Surely others will chime in

I would also give a recommendation on Bob Green. Great work and very good turnaround considering the quality work he does. My 4th rifle from him should be done in the next 3-4 weeks. Very happy with his work. He has built both varmint rigs and big game rifles for me.

Lots of very qualified builders out there. I would like to have Gradous build me a rifle, they look like a real work of art. Sounds like he is getting close to the turnaround times that Karl has and I trouble waiting for new rifles .

I throw another out for Bob Green I have 4 rifles built by him and going to send him another shortly, He is a very fine craftsman and also one of the most honest people to deal with a true gentleman, his prices and lead times are also very good
