Speaking of food. As most of you know, we keep the cost down on these things by cooking our own meals at night, which we enjoy also. The menu so far looks like this.

Wednsday...Gourmet burgers and hot dogs, courtesy of Bob and Dan.

Thursday...BBQ hog with boudin and stuff.

Friday...Cajun shothered pork and gravy, mashed potatos, etc.

Saturday...Brisket and pork tacos.

As most of you are eager to contribute, we have compiled a shopping list of things that we will need that we don't already have. If you are able to help out, let us know what you can bring and I'll tag your handle beside the items. Thanks!

bringing 2 fifths of bourban, couple of mixed cases of local beers, a case of toasted raviolas, and some desserts

4 8oz Cream Cheese

OK, I just spoke with Rattler and we are in for:

Pendleton Bourbon and Amarula to make my world famous Zimbabwe Zingers for any and/or all

Mayo

Mustard

Garlic

Baked Beans

More if other needs come up, but prefferably nothing that needs refridgeration while we travel clear accross the country in the Opiate Express.

I will also be bringinig some copmfortable soft camp type chairs, enough to share a couple with ya'll.

Also bringing a fairly complete gunsmithing kit in case some minor repairs or sight adjustments need to be made. 120pc hollow ground screwdiriver set, punches and drifts, Jewelers files, bore snakes and rods, various epoxy's and adhesives and I have a big, very complete first aid kit and a medicine bag that would rivla some pharmacy's with both RX and Non RX meds in it for about any malady.

Assuming none of these will be needed for the Wednesday night meal of burgers/dogs as it will be late Wednesday night before I arrive.

i will be fishing wednesday. the 13. an cleaning fish. i will get thare around 12:30 thursday. so if someone foregets something you can call me. an i can pick it up on the way. ken
