It's my favorite series by far. Have had to watch it via Netflix until this year when we got FX but it came on at 11 p.m. this past Tuesday. Way too late for me. And no reruns during the week. Good grief, FX is busy running "How I Met Your Mother" all day long and they can't rerun Justified? Or am I missing it? I suspect they have a money deal with DVD vendors or something. Or again, am I missing it? Is it on any day at a reasonable time?

Justified is based on a character created by a fine writer, Elmore Leonard. The story , set in present times, is about a Deputy U.S. Marshall, Raylan Givens, returning to his home state of Kentucky after shooting and killing a drug kingpin in Miami in a fast draw contest. Raylan's jurisdiction includes Harlan County where he grew up and where his father is still a minor criminal. His main nemesis, though, is an old high school buddy, Boyd Crowder, arguably the best villain on television. The writing is deft, the hillbilly characters are realistic and finely-drawn and the action is basically reasonable and often humorous.

How about the more-than-mature audiences? Those of us who can't stay awake past 9:30? Oh well, another social conundrum.

I stumbled into the show by accident three years ago, and instantly LOVED it. I can't wait for season 4 to come out on DVD.

Justified is a great show I do not miss it. I hope this one runs for a good while.

Ditto^
Justified and Duck Dynasaty are the only shown worth watching these days IMO.

Read a comment by Elmore...he doesn't write the story, he makes the characters, lets them loose and then puts down what they do. It seems the producers of Justified are hip to that.
