Bump for a good guy and a good gun. +1
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Tanner, You are jacking with serious Karma issues if you sell a rifle that has performed those dirty deeds already. Put it back in the safe and walk away. The short action thing is no big deal. Stop now and walk away. You'll be fine:)

Thanks for the kind words guys, I appreciate it.
Kurt, you might be right... a 6.5/06 might be fun anyhow...
Oh man...

Yeah seriously man keep it. I can't sell something after a making a few memories with it. I think when you're old you'll wish you had it around still. Just keep it ready with some ammo loaded and maybe take it out once a year or if not whatever it'll still be there.

Well obviously a 6.5-06 would be an upgrade......Kyle has a 25-06 that will be one of the last 2 to ever leave our possession, 6.5-06 being the other. Keep killing big bucks and forget about the rifle crap.

Smart move. I was getting weak, mainly because I had a 25-06 that was a shooter and killer, but I burned out the barrel and just had to try something different so it is now a 25-284. Nothing wrong with it, but I'm just nostalgic for that old 25-06 that served me so well.
The more you hunt it, the more you'll appreciate it.
Bob
