What are you doing with your LH Zastava,s ?
I went out today and shot my LH 7 X 57 today In MA the roads would have been closed but it was just another winter day in AK. Shot 7 different loads worst went right over 2". Best around 3/4" average group size around 1.25". Rifle wants to shoot. Really like the rifle.
Shot my LH Mini Mauser 223 also 3 loads around 2.25"? Needs a little bedding work on the forend, or more tinkering.

I really want one of these in 7.62x39 just so I can take part in this discussion. Somebody has to have one... Sell it to me... I promise to shoot it a lot!
Thank God for Mississippi!

A few weeks ago I got my reshaped stock back from getting new checkering, so the stock work is all done now. Nothing fancy, two panels on the forend that sort of sweep down under the bottom edge and a panel on either side of the pistol grip.
With the cold weather and other things going on I haven't had it out to shoot for several weeks.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

If i had a 223 that didn't shoot no better than that it would belong to someone else real quick or a new barrel .

There is hope, it shot under 1" with different loads, in unmodified ugly factory stock. Testing different loads with a reshaped stock, and pressure point. It acts like it does not like Ram Shot Tac and 55 gr bullets. Powders I have are AA 2520, 4895, RL 15 & Tac

None of my 223's will shoot all that accurate with Tac, compared to Benchmark , H335 or Varget.

Mine have been reduced to piles of parts. Both original barrels are long since sold. The notches for the safeties in the tangs have been welded in. A lot of polishing under the waterline and inside the actions has been done. Replacement Oberndorf style floorplate assemblies have arrived, but they are pretty crude and need some reshaping and polishing. Two Gentry safeties have arrived. A 1-9 twist Brux barrel in .284 arrived the other day. A Lothar Walther short chambered 9.3x62 barrel is allegedly enroute (although they told me the same thing in the fall, as well.) So I am a long way from anything going "bang."

I HAD one of those LH Mini-Mausers It shot good groups It had a rough action & trigger which I had worked on but it did not suit me. I also did not like that the bolt handle was foreward of the trigger.
I'm picky that way
I sold it.

The last shot out of my 9.3x62 went 75yds and broke 1 rib coming and 2 going. The Whitetail buck made a 50yd death charge and my season was over! Preseason was able to keep a 280 cast in 2"at 200yds and a blast to shoot. Have to get it out of the safe and start to reshape the wood! Clint

My Zastava LH 375 H&H continues to deliver 3/4 inch groups at 100 yards. All I did was to go over the original factory stock with a bit of steel wool and give it four or five coats of linseed oil. It doesn't look half bad. I installed a Leupold VXII in Warne QD rings, and absolutely love the rifle. The factory irons were dead on at 100, and when I took the scope off and put it back on, it held zero. I don't know that I could ask for more.

Nothing But I discovered Gentry can't ship to Canada, and Recnagel is making 3 position safetys for LH 98's and I can get two of those. The line at NEGC starts behind me.

I'm still cleaning shipping goop out of mine. They're all apart and all over the kitchen table. If i had a 223 that didn't shoot no better than that it would belong to someone else real quick or a new barrel . The stocks are a nice chunk of walnut, but the inletting seems to have been done by someone still running on vodka fumes. Some bedding and opening the barrel channel a bit should help. I'm probably going to slap it in a synthetic anyway.

My LH Mini Mauser 223 is starting to shoot well relieved Fore End so it was free floating.
But it does not feed well will not pick up round on start of bolt feed? Have tried adjusting mag spring, any ideas on how to get it reliable?
