ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - A poll shows New York Republican voters for the first time disapprove of Gov. Andrew Cuomo's performance following the Democrat's push for a gun-control bill.

The Quinnipiac University poll finds 55% of Republican voters disapprove of Cuomo, with 27% approving of his job performance.

In December, 74% of Republicans approved of Cuomo's performance.

In January, Cuomo presented a State of the State address that included a more liberal policy agenda. Cuomo's goals include a women's agenda with a strengthening of abortion laws.

Cuomo has a 49% approval among independent voters. Sixty-nine percent of Democrats approve of his performance two years into the job.

The poll questioned 1,165 votes March 11 through Sunday. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.9%age points.

Check this link out. Thompkins County [the white one upstate] is voting for the repeal of the SAFE ACT, and Essex[the large blue one at the top], passed a repeal resolution last night.

Only Albany county supports the Imperial Governor of New Yorkistan.

Well NYC and Long Island is were all the people are in NY or a good % of them and well they vote communist every chance they get. For the Rest of NY the only thing you can do is to stand fast and get Businesses like ATK not to sell to the State and Local LEO's if they citizens can't be trusted with the same items. ATK they are pretty much the guys that make ammo in America.

Something has happened to President Obama's approval rating since 2013 started: it�s plummeted. The newest example comes from a CNN/ORC International poll showing Obama�s approval rating down 8 points and his disapproval rating up 7 points. 50 percent of those polled disapproved of Obama�s efforts while only 47% approved.

The director of the CNN/ORC poll, Keating Holland, said:

Americans still respond positively to the president's personal characteristics - it's his stands on the issues that they disagree with. Fewer than a third approve of how the president is handling the government's budget and fiscal policies, and the White House's 'charm offensive' has not registered with the American public.

Four other polls corroborate the CNN/ORC polls findings: an early March poll by Gallup saw Obama�s numbers the lowest they�ve been since the election in November; a McClatchy Marist poll last week testified that only 45 percent of those polled approved of him, which matched the lowest numbers he has registered, back in 2011; a Quinnipiac poll found his numbers had dropped from 53 percent to 45% since his reelection, and a Washington Post poll showed Obama at 50 percent, down 5 points since November�s election.

I never liked his old man and I never approved of anything he did. He gets a big zero from me. The man is no more than an ego with two legs. Poking his ugly face in front of the camera during the Mohawk Valley shootings was the lowest, most despicable thing anyone could do. But then again he is a liberal and that is what they do best.
