After a two year wait I finally got my SR1911, I decided that this was the gun that I wanted as my first 1911 and it was worth the wait. I paid too much for it but not as much as some are paying but the availability and money were finally both in my grasp at the same time so I bit the bullet and did it. My wife got me the VCD grips for our anniversary and they are amazing. I like the bumper pad. (The magazine on Ruger's website is a flush-fit.) That angled pad looks a lot like the one on Tripp's Cobra Mag.

The SR 1911 comes with two factory mags. The 7 round flusher, and the 8 round bumpered..... But any 1911 mag'll work. I even run some 10 rounders thru mine. ![[Linked Image]](http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c124/huntsman22/guns/IMG_2360.jpg)

Very nice pistol. Get you some good magazines like McCormick or Wilson and you will be good to go. Let us know how it shoots.
