How hard is it to get used to the cocking/uncocking feature?

Really no different than a safety. I carry it uncocked, when I bring it up to fire my thumb is trained to push the lever forward. When it reaches my shoulder, it is ready to go. I believe they are the safest double going.

The whole design is around safety. I like that idea better than walking around in the company of people with loaded big guns, cocked and ready to fire with just some mechanical device keeping them from going bang. And the human element thrown in for good measure.
