I am looking to purchase a Browning BAR Belgium made 308 in excellent shape. Any grade if the price is fair. Would like pics or if one is for sale local I would like to see it. Not looking for junk and am serious about purchasing. Thanks

I've got a Belgian grade IV in .270 on gunsamerica for $1750. A shockingly low price for a real piece of Americana, with signed engraving, no open sights. It had a scope base on it and the finish is a little discolored right around the screw holes.

I have a 1969 Grade II and it is a wonderful rifle my dad bought me. I hope you can find one for your dad as they are probably the best of the semis ever built and the 308 is a pussycat to shoot small groups with. If you find one 48 grains of 748, CCI 250, with a Hornady 150 SP set slightly crimped at the cannelure will bring a smile. Good luck.
