Does anyone know if a late 1990s model AE 94 trapper front sight are dovetailed or welded? I am planning to install a XS ghost sight. Thanks

BTW I installed a XS ghost sight on my Trapper and the front sight is dovetailed. The installation was quick and easy and looks great, can't wait to go to the range. May have to wait awile. ( 24-30" snow expected tonite/saturday)

Finally got out on the range yesterday to try out the Trapper with the XS ghost sight and some 30/30 reloads. After 4 shots and two sight moves, it held all the remaining shots in a 1 1/2" bull at 50 yards. Very happy with the sights. Maybe next week I can get on the 100 yard range.
