If you love your big bores as i do. My suggestion is to buy some dies and load em yourself. The old H&H is the first one i started loading for. You can load em for a 1/4 of what you buy them for. As far as ammo check midway or double tap makes a load with tsx bullets

Trap,
Time to handload for your rifle! With bullets, brass, powder, and primers on hand, you can pretty much thumb your nose at ammo shortages. Just plan ahead- keep stuff on hand in sufficient quantities to ward off the crazy times that are unpredictable, and dry up supplies.

Awsome forum guys you all actually try and help me out other forum it is very clicky and if you are not in the click you get no response. I never reloaded before but the price of ammo it looks like I'm going to have to bite the bullet. I have 2 375h&h a weatherby mark v and the sauer model 90 I hunt everything from whitetails to brown bear can't get enough of them obsessed.

Trap, a story-
Last year, I bought a Ruger Hawkeye African, in .375 Ruger, for an upcoming Argentina Water Buff hunt. I also bought a couple of boxes of pricey Hornady ammo, which shot like Krap in my rifle. I shot it all up, used the brass to begin load development, and in short order, came up with a load using Barnes TSX 270 gr. bullets, Big Game powder, and CCI 250 primers. This load gives me 2800 fps MV, and sub-moa accuracy. I now have enough stockpiled brass, bullets, primers, etc. for a lifetime (mine) of .375 shooting and hunting, and a very accurate load to boot, all at a fraction of the cost of Hornady's offerings!

Sounds like a story many can relate to. I also agree about handloading. Trap, try to make the time and invest in some good reloading equipment. Good doesn't mean brand new either. Keep your eyes open for some good deals here in the classifieds section. One thing about rolling your own is you can taylor them to your rifle and your needs. The 375 is a fun cartridge and I too have been enjoying it lately. Good luck with your search...
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Not the exact bullet but the Double Tap 270 TSX loading has been very good in my rifles.

Trap4fur,
Load the 270gr TSX over 74.0 gr of RL-15. It will shoot sub-MOA in just about any rifle. I've killed everything from whitetails to cape buffalo with that load.

Eric Eric, if you started loading, I guarantee your pre 64 model 70 30-06 would shoot better than mine . Here's how she did the other day. It's just a fwt though ....: Both of your 375's and your wallet will thank you too

In general, the .375HH is not super picky about powders. Varget, H4895, IMR 4350, and W760 also will work quite well under the 270 TSX in addition to RL15.
It will truly come down to if you want your rifle to shoot a 1.25, 1.00, or .75" group.
So if you can't find RL15, don't despair.

You might ask at Conley Precision: http://www.cpcartridge.com/ as they make custom ammo. The .375HH link does not open, so you may have to contact them to find out what they make.

You probably had a .4 going there!!!

Contact Safari Arms or Superior Ammo to have them load what you want. John at Safari or Larry at Superior are both fantastic to talk to and extremely helpful.
