I recently started wearing no-line bifocals and found I couldn't hit anything while wearing them. I found one of my old pairs of 1.25+ reading glasses and put a cord on them to keep them from sliding down my nose. This has worked out great. You might give it a try.

The Solution for me, was getting contacts which in one eye are for reading distance and the other in only .75

I see with two different power contacts as I did when I was in my late 40's with perfect vision. As we age the reading glasses issue screws with close vision. The solution, I just wear a single reading contact now and no glasses. I don't even use the .75 contact most of the time. They prescribed them as a pair because they feel there should not be more then 2x between the eyes. Claiming it can cause a head ache or nausea. I've never had either situation ( yet).

I would not want to go back to glasses now with this solution.

if you can't wear contacts I would say the reading glasses with cord is your best bet. Glad you found something that worked for you. My dad is always fiddling with his glasses, maybe I will just duct tape them to his head next time we go out! haha
