Wade (ursus148) with Cross Hair Consulting has been VERY generous to donate this safari and he will coordinate everything as it relates to the hunt. This is a huge deal for Savannah with 100% of the proceeds going to her fund.
This is also a great opportunity for a Campfire member to enjoy their first African Safari. Just think about how much a trophy Whitetail hunt costs and compare to this offering. Should be a very fun time for some lucky member.
Thank you, Wade, for your generosity. We all appreciate it. And thank you, Rick, for allowing us to bend the "rules" a bit and offer this in an auction format.
Please reply to the thread to bid or if you want to remain anonymous, send me a PM with the subject line "Safari".

Wow, how cool is this?!! Kudos to Kei River Hunting Safaris and Wade/Cross Hair Consulting. I spent a few weeks surfing East London (very sharky!) and would love to go back for a plains game hunt.

DVDegeorge, he hunts multiple concessions throughout South Africa. I would only be guessing as far as an exact hectare count. Several thousand overall. Some ranches/farms are 5,000 and some are many square miles. If you email or call me I can give you some references and other specifics. Thanks for the interest.

That is really awesome. Wade and Andrew are both top notch. A few buddies and I went hunting with Andrew, through Wade a few years ago and EVERYTHING was top notch. The food was wonderful (especially the Kudu steaks and Eland lasagna!) We were all successful too!
