granted its generally the wrong time of the year but some of the fallow i saw were a bit more on the spooky side and still carrying bone on their heads.....if someone wanted a bit more challenging hunt trying to get one of those would be it while still leaving yah plenty of time to visit.....also saw some sorta other deer species with bone on his head, couple the eastern boys thought it might be an elk but i know it wasnt, not sure if it was sambar or rusa or a dark sika.....it was a young one and ive not been around them enough to tell the difference given they can vary on color....

gotcha, well if the hunt is back there if i could combine a fallow with a cheap meat pig(basically the fallow counting as the first pig this year) that would be kinda cool even if the fallow costs a bit more.....

yep, most the does i saw werent much more spooky than some of the pigs but i noticed the bucks liked to stay on the far side of the herd from us....be more of a challenge anyway trying to get one....rarely got a real good look at the horns cause the bucks were actually paying attention to us and concerned with what we were doing unlike most the pigs...

granted not as spooky as the mule deer bucks i normally hunt but for the purposes of this kinda thing good enough for me cause like Mark im mainly coming for the get together not the "hunting" so i dont want to spend dawn to dusk every day hunting to get something to bring some meat home aswell.....
