and I ain't buying NO MORE rifles for a long time, unless I can find a pre-war German "clamshell" sxs on 9.3x74R with claws and scope. AND, some kind soul lends me the $$$ to buy it!  Not quite that, but I did finally get the 9.3 x 74R, and in a Merkel k1 no less. A good friend of mine saw this while I was out of town hunting. He snagged it for me. I've killed with all of them chamberings cited,amongst a host of others within the ilk,that ain't mentioned.
If ALL things are equal in differing diameters,to the tune of like projectile integrity and BC's,one can reliably take it to the [bleep] Bank,that the larger bore size is gonna squirt like weight projectiles at increased speeds over it's skinnier cousin. However...things is FAR from "equal" in differing diameters and therein lies the dilemma . Hint. For a 25 to Trump a 6mm,you gotta shovel MUCH more coal into the boiler room and the 25-06 to 243 comparison...ain't enough disparity in CC's to do that. That FACT,seems to trouble pointy-headed Windowlickers in their tinfoil hats,more than a little.(grin)
Boolits matter more than headstamps,but it's funnier than [bleep] to grant them who take exception,the opportunity to showcase their [bleep] stupidity and offer a "Treatise" upon same.
Had a 17HMR,22LR,SAAMI Hornet,223AI,22-250AI,243,6-284,7-08 and 280 in my crummy today and the winds were beyond "sporty". Schit ain't the same and it really do AMAZE me,how [bleep] few can grasp such simplistic FACTS...but obviously,they only shoot their mouths and Imaginations.
Reality ain't for everyone.
All that because I liked how someone put something in a funny way. Wow Guess I might as well say what I feel about the subject. If I did not have a rifle and was buying one just for deer/lopes as was stated I would buy a rifle chambered in .260 or 6.5x55 High BC and SD bullets, light recoil and muzzle blast and all the gun you will ever need for even those pesky quartering shots. Eddybro: After this post is when he Started on me. Where do I attack him here? He attacks me the page before this post. This was my second post on this subject. You may be right. I just remember him giving you a statement which was not an attack and you came out whining with your claws out. If he considered what you said when you came out hissing retarded, he probably did call you a dumbphuck or something.

Fashions come and go, and mine left about 50yrs ago. Life's short, and I'll wear the clothes I like. No problem there 222 Rem. In the summer when its 105 degrees F in the shade at 7 PM and I'm varmint hunting, and sweating like a politician telling the truth, I'm usually in my "old white guy camo" which is a pair of crocs, a pair of shorts and a tee-shirt wrapped around my head like a turban to keep the sweat out of my eyes. This goes to show that for foxes at least, you don't need cover scent. (Unless they thought I was a skunk) There's no power or water at my lease so I hadn't had a bath or a shower for four days. It was late August or early September. It had got up to 116 the day before. Many of you have never been in an infantry platoon. AWWWW YA MIGHT be surprised... I've heard fer instance, that Slavely was actually a jarhead.... and I have been out in the field with all sorts of Army units, doing med support in a variety of ways... from Anti Aircraft Units, Armour Units, Plain old Grunts, Artilery, Special Forces, Rangers, MASH units, Chopper Units, and Airborne guys.. some of you spectator boys, take this stuff a lot more seriously than many of we participants do.. I mean, while me and Slavely, ( for example ) aren't exactly drinking buddies.. I am sure he takes none of this any more seriously than I do... that is why we can repeatedly say all sorts of slanderous crap back and forth, and not really get any one's feelings hurt.. besides I don't think anyone of us care what the other guy thinks of us anyway... so for the few that might get their BVDs in a knot, I'd recommend not reading it at all if it bother you that much... if it bothered any one of us that much, we wouldn't bother with it....

you boys give Schtick way too much credit... just 'because he helps folks' well so do a lot of other guys on the forum, and do it with out being an ASSS about it.. and they are here to share info and be a part of something... not using it as a platform to compensate for having a short man's complex... heck even a couple of courses in psychology at a local community college, or attend a few AA Meetings and Scthick isn't that hard to figure out.. but anyone who cares to be impressed by him... please knock yourself out.. Even a few guys that have good words to say about Schtick.. I have a thousands times more respect for them and their contributions to this forum then Schmuck... Nope, but then again I've met him, I ain't met you. Steelie, fair enough.. I haven't met you either, but I have always enjoyed your down to earth wit.. even tho some of my buddies on here don't care for it... so we all have those of who we like, and who we don't and who we can take or leave... all for a variety of different reasons.. you don't post much that I don't read.. and I get almost as many chuckles out of your posts, as I do Schtick's... yours are just funnier for a different reason is all..
