Gee',

Really groovin' on your "Outdoors" pics. No wonder you Texans "know" so "much". Laffin'!

Milford Bear Schit is modest.

[Linked Image]

Really wish I had a Park or sumptin' cool with fences, like you do.

[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

Subtension still cracks me the [bleep] up,because splendor served upon a Silver Platter,is still Greek to you "hard chargers". Laffin'!

[Linked Image]

Still cain't cypher if you are bitching or bragging, though I'm glad I don't have to make any of your concessions.

Typically park my tent, right 'bout where the strut of The Milford Monarch kisses the ridge top,but never was one to Sillywet myself so nestle leeside of the apex. Not that you'd savvy any of that, which is of course the funniest [bleep] part!

[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/BigStick/DADS6194.jpg[/img]

Bless your heart.

Swifty,

I'll feign my "surprise" that you once again, shut right the [bleep] up and ran the [bleep] away from all of your "particulars".

Shame too...you was really doin' "well".

Laffin'!

WSM,

Boy oh boy...livin' in Pennsylvania and getting out as "much" as you do,has really gotta be "fulfilling". Laffin'!

A heavy-barreled Transition '70 243Win twisted 10",would be perfect for "all" of that.

Wow.

'smoker,

I've heard of that boolit too.(grin)

Here's one stuffed in a 6mmRemAI hull,with a 243AI and 6-284 stoked with 105's...alongside for comparison.

[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/BigStick/Stuff/Bucks%20and%20Bears/DAD_1840.jpg[/img]

The above 105 is to the far right in this next frame, the 85HPBT alongside to it. Though in fairness, the Speer 75HPBT is an even bigger piece of schit(2nd from far left of frame). Nerf Ping-Pong Ball BC's,is easily set aside.(grin) It's ALL about the beeg picture and one can easily have his cake and eat it too.

[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/BigStick/Stuff/Rifle%20Stuff/20110328-DAD_2510.jpg[/img]

I've yet to meet the gent who had "too many" pictures, though you cain't swing a dying Cat in a circle less hitting one,who laments the opposite. I was born lucky, because I had an early appreciation for what I was doing, where I was doing it and the company I kept along the way...so I greedily gunned 35mm with reckless [bleep] abandon and was loathe to make the swapaloo to digital. By the very nature of the Technological progression, most all of my good schit is on film and rest assured,I'm more than a whole bunch happy to have it. Though I do dabble Digital a smidge.

Bang for the buck, the Canon G-12 is the cream of the crop,in regards to the beeg picture. I seem to be hard on riggin' for some reason and the '12 is built like a [bleep] tank, compared to most of the P&S ilk. Lotsa pards have it and/or the '11,all of which has been to Hell and back, countless times. The build quality is overphuckingkill and such things interest me. The focal length window and aperture, make lotsa nice things easy,as Hero Pics and ambient light go and it simply pumps out IQ far better than it "should".

[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v136/BigStick/Stuff/Fish%20Stuff/IMG_0394.jpg[/img]

I hear good things about DSLR's too...but dat's a whole 'nother subject.

I'm a bag drag away from 2wks of vacation and I hear rumors of Torrential Rain. I'd not wanna be a Thang.(grin)

Best go pack that bag, while I hope The Secret Squirrel Society keeps Pretending their Ignore, forgetting about same and talking out their azzes even more. These dumbphuckers crack me up.

Laffin'!

Man, I love bears. You better bust one with a big noggin this spring and send some pics. Me, maybe next year.

I've had but one chance, but I see more in the future...and I know chances are made, not given. To show my photographic prowse, I'll elaborate:

[Linked Image]

I do have more pics of the one, but they aren't within reach of the iPad. I have a feeling me and the boy below will be heading north in a couple of years. He marvels at the rug and I've made promises.

[Linked Image]

She may make the trip too. I'll be sure to document the next trip a little better. They're a little more important now that I have a few hunting partners. Hell, the only shooting I may do would be with a camera...but I doubt it!

[Linked Image]

Have a safe trip home.

I enjoy handguns and I really like shotguns,...but I love rifles!

That is the plan. I just got it a couple months ago. Has been hiding in my dentists gun safe since he bought it.

WSM, that should be a good one..spent several summers with friends shooting chucks..I used a .22-250 for longer fields and a Hornet and .222 for smaller ones..great fun..but I think most of the places I shot are growing up in weeds..No chucks..

I found myself small bore rich after never having a small bore. I bought a Remington VTR in .223 a couple years ago and also built a .257AI. Then I found a good deal on a new Remington SPS V in 22-250 about the same time my dentist offered me this rifle.
Regardless of what some think about the post 64 Winchesters I like them. I have one in .300 Win Mag that was custom stocked in curly maple for me. Left hand thumb hole stock with right hand action. I have one in 30-06 I am refinishing the stock on now and the .243.

Better hang on to that thing. Almost time to plant ta-maters and you'll be needing stakes.

Another .308W:

This one sat quiet for 50 some years and then it started making noise. Perhaps I should turn it into a .243?

I commend you for getting those boys out in wild country like that. Those are some beautiful animals!

Thanks for sharing those pics!
