Thanks for the heads up gentlemen.

Greatly appreciated. I'll stick with Davis or Montana Canvas.

I have a 16x20. I got mine 3 seasons ago for a deal I couldn't pass up.. It's not a bad tent, I had to make my polls shorter then it says as the tent would barely fit on the frame. Pulled couple seams on the peak tip. (1" hole) trying to make it fit and sides are less then 5' tall. Otherwise not a bad tent.

Ok. So let me back paddle a bit.
Went to open our tent and the thing is rotted. Put your finger through the canvas rotted. Called magnum as the tent was put away dry. I tried to explain that what ever water proof and fire proof coating they had on there might be the problem. The tent would stick to it self. We had to pull the tent apart from it self more then once, not just when new.
They told me they don't use that coating any more and only would sell me a new tent at whole sale price. Not sure I want to go this route again. Anyone have anything similar happen. What's the best way to go about this.
I guess you get want you pay for.

I also purchased a 16X20 tent three years ago. Got a "great" deal. After we got home from the first hunt we set it up in the garage and let it completely dry. Packed it in a plastic box I had made for storage and opened it two weeks before the second hunting season. Set it up and there was mold on the tent in several places. Called them up and they said that there was nothing I could do to get it off except soap and water. I let it dry and took it back up hunting. We got several feet of snow during the third season last year as many of you know. The tent held up but several of the ties pulled off the tent. Got home and did the same as last year. Opened it up last week to go on a camping trip and it is worthless.

Please be careful if you purchase from these guys. Great prices but you may only have the tent for two or three years. Am using an outfitter this year so I am waiting for April to purchase a tent from Davis.

The gnikcuf things are made in Pakistan! And they're a bunch of lying crooked [bleep]! I left reviews of my experience with them and the corksuckers deleted them and blocked me from their webpage!

And to anyone dumb enough to buy one; all I can say is, I toldja so! Makes my blood boil to even think of the POS!

Same here. I wrote a bad review and it was never put up. So...I went to the BBB site and re-wrote it. It was there a month later. I think it still is. Great tent for one year. Then it just fell apart. I asked if they made their own tents and he told he they did. Lied. That tells you something.

I have been talking to Davis last couple of days and I think I will end up with their tent. I also heard good thing about Bravo tents, but they don't make my size as a standard so I don't want to pay extra or redo my tent frame.
I also went on western wall tents web site and can not find any reviews.

I went back and looked as well. I did not even see a place to write a review anymore. He has taken all of the reviews down. No need to wonder why? Every one I have spoken with loves their Davis tent. Call them and they should give you a list of references. My next tent will be from Davis and thank goodness I can wait until April when they go on sale.

Have to give my vote to Davis also. All we have ever had.

Yep, look no further than Davis. We've had ours about 10 years now and it's been great.
