I am taking a vacation down to Bethany Beach, Delaware...September 7-14th plan to do some fishing while down there...Any recommendations for that time of year?....Charters that take small parties out to fish the bay or inlet?

If you're as far North as Bethany then I would go out of Lewes, DE. I will see if I can dig up some names. Also surf casting rocks and I think you can take your vehicle onto certain parts of North Beach.

The surf fishing is hit or miss in September. Party boats go out every day for about $75.00 per day.

I have a house in Bethany and have vacationed there for over 30 years. Lots of good charters out of Indian River. Do some research or n just go there.

i kept my boat in lewes for 5 years in the late 80s early 90s. indian river would be a closer run for offshore. just down the road a little is ocean city md. which is even closer. head/party boats are always an option and o/c would no doubt have several. not sure about i/r. in any event you would be in an excellant location for some good fishing.

Use to fish Indian River at night for stripers. Should be stripers moving through that area in Sept.
