I could/do like both. I used 70&95gr nbt's for a long while. My dad was big on teaching us to be gentle with the trigger and make a good shot. He didn't/don't research bullets so I just bought what I thought looked cool....lol. I only switched from federal loaded 70's to winny loaded 95's because I thought the winnys looked cooler. I was a young kid and didn't know better but many deer still died. now I enjoy learning about bullets handloading etc...and really enjoy learning to shoot at longer distance.

I still have a bunch to learn and have lots of room to improve on longer range shooting. That said what little bit I have learned is I've not yet had a barrel twisted too fast. Also those longer bullets with higher bc's allow me to shoot a bit better at longer distance. Those bullets have also done a fine job on killing deer.

We're all big kids in this sandbox, and if feelings get hurt easily we can walk away at any time. But THAT post was completely out of bounds. To make such a statement shows the poorest of character. Taking the hooks so deeply as cast by Boxer sheds light on some insecurities, but making the clear reference to his family tells much more about your character than I think you planned. You've only got one move right now, use it wisely.

Edited to add:
Good move, and I erased your quote.

I don't know why I'm gonna say this but guess I feel like killing a min before lunch?

This whole thread has mostly been about fussing back and forth. It's also been fairly comical to down right funny at times. I have no side to take as I don't know any of you fellas. I hate to let the cat out of the bag but boxer/stick is not the azz hat some think he is. The guys he's raising hell with is going back and forth with him. We do the same here at work. When we feel like arguing poking fun or whatever we do it. No harm no faul. We have thick skin and if I give a co-worker a hard time I expect him to give it back...passes the time I guess...lol.

If you think I'm totally wrong look how boxer responds to people asking a question. He always responds with his opinion and generally the particulars that go along. Some disagree with his opinion and a big funny train wreck goes back and forth. Often included is some cool pictures. Don't want to argue then simply don't?

Example he don't like Berger bullets. The small sample I have from last season is I do. No big deal. Do I need a 243AI spitting 105's for deer hunting here?......nope. Would I just soon have my wife's 250AI and 100gr nbt's?....yep. Reason is the farm I hunt the farthest shot I'm gonna get is just over 300 yards. At that distance almost everything will work fine. When I'm playing and shooting for fun pass the quick twisted high bc stuff. Last season everything I killed was with a 6.5-284 and 22-250AI with high bc bullets. Reason is/was I had been playing with those guns knew they was "on" and I could shoot steel one day at distance and kill a deer the next at 150 yards. Have cake eat too.

Funny, someone sportin a 3 month old handle would even have such information. Seems you're either recycled or getting very poor advice via PM by the other failed BS detractors.

Either way, GO [bleep] YOURSELF...

That comment is absolutely FAR beyond ANY acceptable remark here and ANY comment on family, as has been done here by a few concerning my wife and family several times in past years, should NOT be posted. I am pleased to see it gone and hope such remarks will never again sully the "Fire" as they have a number of other sites.

I can understand the dislike, contempt and disgust that so many here feel for Larry Whatever his name is; I just do not care what he does or does not post and I ignore his various jibes and repetitious drivel. His supposed gun knowledge does not begin to impress me and his photos are OK, but, not especially artistic or unique.

In short, he behaves like an azzhole, but, dragging his family into it is NOT "cool" and, after this, I think that Rick should just "nuke" this entire thread and everyone should pause and cool down a bit.

JMHO, but, that's how I feel about family, kids and other very personal aspects of our lives.

amazing how often he and his groupies raise that sort of subject...

so Schtick, why don't you draw the connection between your homo fantasies, and the 243 vs 25/06.... that ought to be entertaining... your midnight posts are a lot more entertaining than watching Conan...

I pity Boxers mother. It must be hard on her knowing she raised such an angry little man. He's a Class A keyboard commando. He'll say everything to you from the safety of the internet that his perverse twisted brain can dream up. Of course he's a paper tiger who relies solely on the safety of anonymity and hides behind his computer screen and the one post per day his mom allows.

Another cunny that knows not what she speaks.

I do not mean you and although I dislike ONE comment you posted, which you were a gentleman and immediately withdrew, I was thinking of the few who consistently bring threads of this nature about.

I posted something without knowledge of something. Now I am a raving azzhole but Boxer is everyones [bleep] hero! Maybes ifin I start talking likes him and telling all you make believers what good for nothing pieces of whale slime you all are I can be a hero also. Funny most agree he's a jagoff but you still all defend him and tolerate his BS. Maybe if he would post in a half azzed manner people could actually understand what he is saying. And it is not like he is illiterate. He does it intentionally to draw attention to his pitiful self. Big tough lumber jack living the toughest life on earth with the best toys on earth he probably maxed out his credit to pay for! Think about it before everyone makes me the bad guy here.
