they go for 60-100 bucks up here depending who from.

several at a time on eBay, usually top out at $52 or so. One just went thru for $42... I've been looking for a 284 magazine.

Yes, I have. Ended up finding one for less money. Got a 99C 338 Federal I plan to re-chamber to 338/284 to get a little extra range out of it. Boys and their toys.

try the parts dept at savage 800 370-0708 a while back Effie told me that they were cranking out some more mags for the 99-C, don't know if they still do...Mel
