Hey Gang, If work wasn't enough of a kick in the groin, I just got another kick today. We had an IEP meeting for my oldest son Elijah last Thursday and the Occupational Therapist that evaluated him suggested we get his eyes checked and possibly seek a specialist. Saturday we seen an optometrist and he referred us to a developmental optometrist. We were able to get in today to see her and after an evaluation she determined he has a Convergence insufficiency and pursuit dysfunction. She feels therapy is needed to help with the issue. Now we are working on getting the funds necessary to be able to start the treatment. Guys/Gals, as much as I would like to ask for donations, I believe in the power of prayer and faith in my lord and savior Jesus Christ. More than anything I ask for prayer. If anyone can donate, it would be well received and extremely appreciated. But please keep my little boy in your prayers. He needs it (we could use some prayers too).
