I have a Model 99M in .284 Winchester. I have about 20 rounds of .284 brass, but am looking to get about 100 more. Tough finding it on the market nowadays. Anyone ever make some from a different cartridge (too fat for .308, etc.)?
Regards, Jack

I have a 284 a 6.5x284 and had a 6mmx284. I buy brass by the 500 when it is available. What are 100 pcs of new brass going for in these times??
I do not know of anything you can make a 284 case from unless it is a 284 wildcat to start. It is just too cool to be made from something else. Tim

That's what I was afraid of. Thanx. Brass is expensive, and just about nonexistent in this market.

There has been quite a bit of brass for sale in the classifieds lately.

Yea. Don't get in a hurry. Keep looking and you'll find some. It's seasonal, I believe, with Winchester.
