Does anyone else read and enjoy John Connor's stuff, he is published in Guns and the American Handgunner, maybe others.

This month in Guns he had a piece on being aware of the conditions around you when doing day to day stuff, he did a little take off on SSS, when things aren't going well (so to speak) you should do something, Shoot, Scream, or Scram! I like it!

He writes about his travels around the world that I find interesting, he and editor Roy Huntington trade some barbs that bring back memories of the back and forth between Skeeter and Bill Jordan, that was some good clean fun.

Anyway he brings something a little different to the gun rag business.

I always read Connor.

I like Connor's writing as well.

Connor always has some good stuff on a lot of subjects, guns, politics, and some good stories about his travels.

I like his writing.

I wish he'd own who he is.

He sounds like he been in the tough guy business for a while,
I think he has been laid up for a while with some bullet holes.

I have the same impression based on his writing.

My point is that some writers give the impression they've been to hell and back, kicked Beelzebub's ass, figured out what a good handgun consists of, and mastered forced entry with a carbine.

Only to discover, they were a reserve police officer, spend most of their time performing self-fellatio, and haven't even punched a grown man in the [bleep] face.

I'd like to know who he is, and what he's done. That's all I'm saying.

Where I come from, S.S.S. does not mean Shoot, Scream or Scram.

It means Shoot, Shovel, Shut up.

Conner is one of my favorites. I wish he'd turn out a little more to read and be a little less cryptic.
