Due to recent back surgery, I'm thinking of selling my Remington Custom Shop 300 RUM.
It's the Alaskan KS 700 Ultra light, with Factory stainless steel barrel & action, & Factory coated black Teflon Finish It has the original Factory Remington Kevlar Stock in black with a 26" barrel. It weighs only 6.5 pounds without the scope! It has a Leupold Vari XIII-2.5 X 8 mounted on it.
I ordered this rifle new back in 1997 from the Remington Custom Shop when I had my FFL License. Wholesale cost at the time was $1700 bucks. It has had only 100 rounds fired through it & shoots sub 1" 5- shot groups at 100 yards with the Nosler Custom Factory Ammo. No scratches or dings. It's been pretty much a safe queen for the last 15 years, and has only been hunted with a couple of times. I hate to sell it, but the recoil is a little much for my back since surgery.
Was wondering what it might be worth or if any one on the Campfire might be interested before I list it on Gunbroker, or trade it at my local gunstore. Thanks! Neal
