Very nice. Back in the day, my old M29, no dash, would do six with all the bullet holes touching at 35 yds. 1.5 inches, outside spread. My "60's" version of the K-38 would put all six Western factory wadcuteer match rounds into 3/4's of an inch, outside spread for six at 25 yds. as well. Smith and Wesson has been known to make some very accurate pistols.
No, none of these groups where free hand as like your's. E

Those "old style" N-frames sure are nice. I'm sure the newer ones are good guns, but I sure like the square butt frame and no internal lock features of yours.

I sometimes wonder if a person can shoot better than a Ransom rest. I doubt you would be able to duplicate that group with the Ransom rest...

Nice shooting..for some reason I can shoot .41s like that but not .44s or .45s...and the 4" guns shoot better than the longer ones...

1983...25 yards double action.... Keith bullet cast out of linotype with 8.0 grains of Unique...5 plus one screwup...touched off just as I swayed off center...

[Linked Image]

2004..50' DA with a Berry's plated bullet. First shot was aiming point for the other 5...

...also wish I could do that every time....Bob

I have a pile of .44 .45 acp and .45 Colt revolvers.... Bullet molds a nice sized stash of brass and other components and a Dillion 550....

I was happy with this .... Never owned a .41 Magnum.... Always thought it would be fun but wasn't that motivated to start stocking reloading/casting supplies for one......

Now I realize that I NEED a .41 S&W Mountain Gun.... Pre MIM parts and lock... Action tuned and a gold dot front sight....

Thanks a bunch for helping me realize all this. Now.........

Go finish shooting the rest of that group.... What happened..... Run out of ammo or just noticed you hand starting to shake and feel sweat running down into your eyes ? grin

Please don't feed the trolls!
