C_Hell: I wish there was some thing I could do to restore your girlfriend for you - sadly I can't.
Cherish your memories of her and stay strong - thats what she would want you to do.
In the future the lesson you are learning now will be of benefit - treasure those you love while you can.
These are the toughest times (the first several days after a tragedy) many of us have been where you are now and indeed things WILL get better.
So sorry for your loss.

Very sorry for your loss. Some day you will be able to carry that shotgun in the field. Just having it with you will remind you of the good times you had hunting with Megan. It will also bring tears to your eyes, but you will be glad you have it.
