I recently sent back to Bushnell a 4-12X40 AO Sportview I purchased cheap in the 90's or early 2000's. It had been on at least an 8mm Mauser, a 30/06, a .243, and a .308. It kept getting moved when the rifle was considered a keeper and the scope upgraded, or when the rifle was sold from underneath it.
It recently quit responding to the elevation adjustments.
I sent it back to Bushnell on May 1st with a check for $10, and today opened a box from UPS with a new Bushnell Banner 4-12X40 AO.
I just thought I'd post this since I've seen Bushnell's warranty maligned on the 'fire.

heard something the other day that Bausch and Lomb were just sold to some other outfit from overseas... can't remember if it was Chinese or something else along those lines.
That might be ending their good customer service...

That might be ending their good customer service... Bushnell has no connection to Bausch & Lomb. They long ago acquired the use of the Bausch & Lomb name and used it on some of their(Bushnell's)scopes but there was never an ownership interest between the two companies to my understanding. Shouldn't have any effect on Bushnell customer service.

Yeah, and the B&L Elite binos were world class, and the Bushnell Elite binos sucked......
It is irrelevant what you think. What matters is the TRUTH.

I sent back a Bushnell lazer rangefinding binocular I bought that was not working perfectly, and I received a brand new unit in great time. Caring and fast service, which I wrote about here when it occured. That CS and these lazer binocs have changed my mind about Bushnell MUCH for the better.
