Great old pic Stetson, wonder where that M-12 is today? Is that what it looks to you guys--with a Cutts and an extra full tube screwed in it?
I would have liked to go on a few of those hunts.

tomk- Actually I think from trigger guard shape and angle and the size of the loading port that it is an 1897. The top of the receiver doesn't show clearly enough to be certain.

The gun looks to have a huge drop at the heel of the stock, might rule out a M-12 but the 97 I would think so.

The very slender grip on the forend and and no cap on the magazine and it looks like a little wedge from the barrel to the front of the magazine, maybe a Rem Mod 10.
erich
After the first shot the rest are just noise.

kid,
They are light indeed. You should see one with a mud motor on it. It's hard to find any need of improvement with a setup like that.

BearStalker, Is it stable on the water when you are shooting? Can two people stand up and shoot, or does it rock a lot? My buddy has problems shooting sitting down, and its a freakin nightmare for me.

I bet they are light and easy to carry around, eh? Yep, pretty light. I have 3 duck boats, but this one gets nearly all the action. This is a 10'er. They also make an 8' and a 12'. I don't shoot out of it very often, but it works.

Stetson The pod in the picture is mine (I'm on right) The motor is a 6 Hp hyper drive Mudbuddy. You can go to adventuremongers.com to see some pics with the motor on it just click on photoalbums It do kick @$$ Oh and all the ducks in the pic above were in two days hunting you should see it when we go out for 3 days. Possession limit is 24

Are the pods a one man deal and does anyone have a manufacturers link to them and the motors? That just looks very slick. Its gotta be a lot cheaper than a 16" john boat with a Go Devil. I'd like to see the ducks from three days first hand! So many things to do in AK but bird hunting and fishing are my next two priorities.
