Holy smoke! I really enjoyed his contribution here, and always looked forward to his response. He just answered one of my questions the other day. RIP Malm. May you be at His side for eternity. I will post this in the Hunters Campfire section. So sorry to hear this terrible news.

God bless him. May he RIP.
I hope someone is available at his home next week, as I have work with him and need to make arrangements to get it back.

Sorry to hear this. He did the work on my model 7 when I was in utah with my girlfriend. A heck of a guy, he answered every question I asked him.
Sad day for sure.

Bummer, lots of knowledge just left us. RIP.
I would not buy something that runs on any kind of primer given the possibility of primer shortages and even regulations. In fact, why not buy a flintlock? Really. Rocks aren't going away anytime soon.

He was a great guy, met him in Salt Lake and he helped me with a Sako bolt issue. We conversed many times over the years. Hard core Marine too.

The guy always answered questions honestly and straightforward. The pictures he provided of his work showed outstanding workmanship. He will be missed I am sure by his family and posters here.

I believe he was in his middle sixties. That's where I'm at and we were in the Corps at the same time.

He was in the middle of working on a model seven for me. I called to check on it Friday and found out he had passed on Thursday. When I went to pick it up I found out he was 61. Starting to get out more and enjoy life after his wife passed. He was out riding dirt bikes when he had a heart attack. R.I.P.
