I live in MN and am going to Atikoken Ont. June 12th. By my calls to friends we are about 2-3 weeks behind because of the cool spring. Adjust where you fish and what you use to still spawning. Buckfever1

Just came back from a several day trip to Basswood Lake in the BWCA on the border. Walleye fishing was very good but just getting started according to people who run the Prairie Portage. We caught nice walleye but not many else did. No smallmouth action either which means they are at least three weeks late compared to our prior years experience. We normally go a week earlier and have very good smallmouth fishing.
