FYI, use it sparingly. According to Beretta, this gun has an expected service life of roughly 2,000 rounds.

I have not seen the 2,000 round service life mentioned by Beretta anywhere. Do you have a link or can you tell me where I can find the information from Beretta ?

I put a Crimson Trace laser sight on my Bobcat.

Pretty neat set up.

With the right ammo, nothing to sneeze at.

I contacted Beretta customer service and I was told that if you take care of the gun it should last well beyond 2,000 rounds. They do not have an expected service life limit.

good to know, if I buy a .22 it's probably going to get shot some.

I found out there is a used bobcat at a shop about 45 mins away for $240.

I guess that's a fair price if its in good shape, we will see if I can get over there in the near future.

I wish Beretta would use the same sights on the Bobcat as they use on their .32 Tomcat. Much easier to see or adj for windage.

As for a 2k round life expectancy, I know I shot the one I had at least that many rounds and it was still like new.

Wish I had it back.
