Hey I'm new to this and trying to figure it out. I'm looking for a Savage model 99C 7mm-08. My grandpa had given me one which was later stolen and I believe it went to a pawn shop. i would like to try to own another one. Please help and let me know if you got one for sale. Thanks!

Last one I sold went for $2200'ish. Rebore a 243 if you want a shooter.

Cheaper to rebore or rebarrel a 243 if a guy just wanted one for hunting.

Dan Peterson will do the rebore for less than that and he's good. Long wait sometimes but he does good work. Delta charges top dollar and so does Redmans who are also located out here on the left coast. (Well, Redmans are east of the Cascades.) I'd contact Dan and see what kind of numbers he offers.
