Who makes a cheap tactical handguard with rails for accessories? I will not be putting it on a duty gun, just my plinker.

Midwest industries is in the same price range, and does good things.
Yankee hill (YHM) is in the same category.
The Midwest rails I have seen and dealt with kick the seeds out of the cheap stuff.
At near a C-note, and Picatinny correct, the fewer headaches for a couple of bucks extra is "cheaper" in my book.
Just an opinion mind you.

I bought a YHM lightweight quadrail handguard, and the picatinny rails are not milspec, so true milspec accessories wouldn't fit.

Havn't seen that in the several examples I have hands on with.
Have you contacted YHM?
They advertise 1913 Picatinny spec. and so far I have seen nothing but decent fit.
Holler at them and see what happens.
Their answer would be good to know.

I went overboard and put the ARMS SIR on my Bushy... Heavy little begger now! Awesome rail system, and freefloats the barrel... worth $350+.... Was for me... trying to recreate my days in the Corps... for civie use? probably not! You can do rails much cheaper... Good luck!
