My duck has mental issues, like trying to hatch green tomatoes.



But, the damn thing has eaten five snakes, I got this one on video:

That is cool. I'd take care of that duck.

We used to have a lot of copperheads around the house except when we had free roaming chickens. I didn't see them eat a copperhead but I watched them eat many other types.


It was fun to watch because if one hen got the snake she would try to run off with it but all the others would take off chasing her. It was just like watching feathered fowl football. Usually the finder wasn't the eater.

Also, I've watched many hawks catch and eat snakes and they must make up a large percentage of their diet.

Strangest bird snake encounter was two wood thrushes working over a black snake until they killed it.

That's a brave little duck. Braver than me. Great video.

That duck will eat any snake it sees, regardless of political aspirations. Guess I shouldn't take her to DC

I do have one request though. Next time rotate your phone when filming. The vertical oriented videos just don't look right somehow. I don't know, maybe it's just me.

She don't have mental issues..She's just a little confused, it's just possible she thinks she's a mongoose.

Nail I have a long way to go before I'm a cameraman. Will try to use wide angle next time.
