I now have 15 points and no branched antler tag. Washington fish and game has their head up their #%?@#. Ran into two hunters last elk season. The first one was hunting with his third branched antler tag and the second one was on his second branched antler tag. The really stupid thing is the company that fish and game contracts the draws out to are from B.C. The whole thing sucks.

Wife drew a primo ml bull elk tag during the rut. She has no idea how good this tag is. have to start burning gas and boot leather and set out cams and practicing cow calls.

hoping for at least a 330 min this year if we put in the effort.

My 11 yo drew a Mt Spokane south youth moose tag!

I got a Palouse buck tag, and my dad drew a Lick Creek cow elk tag.

A friend's son drew one of those ten years ago and we had a great time. We saw 13 moose in 2 1/2 days before he saw a cow he could get a shot at. I drove, and bought a permit to access what turned out to be good hunting land. I just googled it and it's still available: Inland Empire Paper Company permit.

Or: http://www.iepco.com/recreation.htm

This kid I mentioned got his moose cow on a mtn called "Roundtop".

Good luck. smile

Nada. 7 points for the good ones. I drew spring bear over here for NE Corner and capitalized on it very well. Was hoping for a Second deer tag here locally but you Coasties seem to consistanly draw them then knock on doors and expect to shoot them in our front yards.....

Oh well. There is always Idaho 45 minutes away

Please God, give me some good tags this year....

I hear ya JJ. I live in the Palouse and there's always a bunch of Coasties that draw late buck tags, and 2nd doe that have no idea this is 99% private, and have no where to hunt.

If your front yard is next to my 160 acres over there I probably will shoot one close to your front yard. I got a 4x4 two years ago and a 5x4 last year, both on my place. smile

I drew a cow tag for a unit over here, but I should be able to get one and be over there in your front yard by late buck. Wish me luck.

Nothing here again this year. The hunts I put in for are all local areas I know, none are the really sought after tags. I still can't draw anything.
I guess I'll just have to hunt deer, elk, bear, cougar, varmint ,and small game during general season with everyone else. I do have a multi season elk tag in my wallet so I've been shooting my bow in the back yard a lot.

Jamie, let's go over to NE Washington and hunt in people's front yards. I hear it's easy for us Coasties to get a tag for over there, and the game is plentiful. laugh

You've got 160 acres. Schitt, they can all hunt your property. No Knock and Talk needed. Just PM you and it's all good. Then maybe they'll leave your property full of schitt piles, half gallons of R&R booze, and Busch Light cans for their week away from the wives. You'll clean up after them.

They did this to your front yard? I promise we won't. Oh, I don't drink R&R or Busch Light, so please have something better than that to offer when we show up. Thanks.
