That looks very nice.I like the look though I do not have any stainless rifles,a couple handguns are however.I know many do not like browning a-bolts but they offered one,not sure if they still do.Awesome looking rifle,I am jealous!

The Browning is a White Gold Medallion. I really liked the limited run they did a few years ago which had an octagon barrel.

You are all making me drool. It is probably the nicest combination going. I understand the benefits of a good synthetic stock, but why am I alwyas buying them and then getting rid of them just as quick. I am on the prowl for the same Sako setup you have except in 338.

Oh, IMHO, nothing looks better! Tis what I plan to do (someday) with my Rem7 .308!!!
Great pics.
I, especially, love the darker stain against the S/S!

I may go this route next....on my SUCKS 25-08 with the CDL as wood....
Can't have a silver scope though...matte Leupy on matte metal with MAYBE SS rings and base....
Yeah...I can see it now....

Ya, have you seen the Rem700 100th? Give me one in Lefty, and I'm a happy dude, but alas, no LH in sight. Rem700

They are nice. I would love to find a Mod 70 Featherweight in stainless with wood. Have looked for a 300 win mag that way, tough to find.

Cariboujack,
Kep looking. I found my 6.5 Swede FTW Classic two weeks before the big collapse at Winchester. A great looking rifle, but now I have to think about ruining any collector premium on it. Damn!

Brad,
Is that a .44 or a .22?

Stainless on walnut in my opinion is the best looking combination out there. I picked up a Winchester Mod 70 FWT Classic SS in 25 WSSM.

Yea I like 'em too. I've got a Sako 75 Hunter Stainless that is very handsome. It's off to Hill Country Rifles right now getting a new Lilja barrel installed.

I love the wood/stainless combination. I was wishing that Marlin would make some of their .22LR or .22 magnums in that combo (even thought of buying two rifles and swapping the stocks).
Maybe we need to start a write-in campaign.

I have to agree, I love the stainless, walnut thing, but needs a matte scope.
I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects
I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....
