Hi Guys
I did a trade with a fellow. I traded a .204 for a pair of 12x45 Zeiss Conquest binos. Fellow said they were in mint shape. Just got them out and the ocular lens has a faint scratch mark. I like the binos and other then sending them back and getting my old rifle back what would be a fair cash settlement? They look fine when viewing but would be better with no scratch and I may never get anything out of them if I decide to sell in the future. The fellow is willing to work it out.
Cheers!!

Send them to Zeiss they will fix for free as long as they were bought new from a authorized dealer.
Several years ago I bought a Zeiss spotter from a member here with a obvious [bleep] up eye piece. Zeiss sent me a new eye piece free of charge. The member never did hold up his end of the deal.

zeiss customer service number is 1-800-441-3005. They offer great service. I would call as the previous post stated.
Seems like a NEW Zeiss Conquest 12x45 bino is selling from approx 850 to 1000 dollars on some other sites......hope that helps and good luck.

The Zeis Conquest 12x45 is not a popular size and with a scratched ocular lens is a large penalty. Check with Zeiss customer service before proceeding. They probably will not fix the ocular lens for free. I would not want one with damage. Used value with scratch maybe $450. tops.

I agree not popular but for my style of western big game hunting they are perfect for great for glassing big open country. I have a pair of 12x50 Vortex and they are so much better but this scratch deal really bothers me. Im also up in Canada and bino prices are waay more then what you guys pay. These are selling new for around $1100 up here. Im gonna contact Zeiss this am.
Cheers!!

I have a pair that I couldn't turn down the deal; my buddy sold them to me for $300 and they're like new!!! Turns out, I really like them for out West hunting. Lightest pair of 12X I've ever handled.
