I like the 'Chute knife' look. Is the top of blade sharpened?

ATS 34 . No I didn't sharpen the top but it is thin enough to sharpen .

Art I love the design and in my worthless opinion its great workmanship.
The only thing I don't like is the Knotch in the root end of the blade at the ricasso. It is not needed and makes for a weak point in the knife. They don't bother me so much in a hunting blade but in a fighter/survival knife its a big no for me.
