Was told and trying to confirm for a Remington 7 Magnum that 140 Ballistic Tip using Reloader 22 Powder starting is 63.5 and max is 67.5. Is this correct? What kind of velocity to expect out of a 26" barrel? Thanks.

According the the load data on Nosler's site, that is correct. Nosler claims 3340 fps from a 24" barrel:

Those loads are indeed the listed loads for a 7mm Remington Magnum according to the Nosler Manual #6.

Nosler tested in a 24 inch Wiseman barrel. I would not expect much more in a 26 inch barrel. Only a chronograph will tell.

Nosler shows 63.5 grains RL 22 giving 3150 fps and 67.5 grains of RL 22 giving 3340 fps.

Those speeds sound a little optimistic to me, but that is probably due to the use of a test barrel and not an off the shelf rifle.

Thanks guys for verifying. I would be happy with 3150 and accuracy to boot. I don't want to push the 140 BT to hard and hit a deer or hog at relatively close range to have it not perform like it should.
