Thanks for the "heads up". I'll pass this information on to my company and we will keep an eye out for her during this winter's show season.
Cheers, RS

You need pics of her to post on the sites, etc. We are all a little unawares of this type of attack going on. They can edit any footage or comments to fit their anti agenda. We need to get pics of these people when they take our pics.

I was trying to make, us others, aware of what to look for and how to prepare ourselves when this happens to us. I deal with the public all the time and should be more prepared if this happens to me. A very good heads up. Thank you for posting.

Just a quick perusal of the report link suggests the report is limited to areas with little hunting activity, and consequently little revenue. Also, here is no mention made of the unintended consequences, such as poisoning and snaring by the indigenous farmers. Ive come to the conclusion that you can reason with opinion, but you can never reason with emotions. The groups fomenting these studies are repleat w/ emotions, but not much can be said about rationale or thought out opinion. Unfortunately, these emotionoids are the darlings of media.

After reading KLA's tweet, and the linked article, and then perusing the article's supporting sources, I see that only one side of the issue was presented, as the benefits of safari hunting are minimized to none, and foreign hunters are made out to be the bad guys, killing endangered animals and supporting gov't corruption.
I see this same bs all over the place anymore. People have forgotten how to have a beneficial debate to come to productive compromise for all involved. It is easier to pick your side and then denigrate the opposing side. Unfortunately, the conflicts just escalate.

After following through to the linked report-A true scientist could drive a truck through the holes in it. Anyway, I see that the International Fund for Animal Welfare was the driving force behind it. I am reminded of a book that I have recommended on other Africa Hunting sites. http://www.amazon.com/Game-Changer-...=2FK2Z027RX3T4&coliid=I3AUFEF78KKJWXThis book was reviewed in Sports Afield. Basically, it is a critical look at the animal rights community and ecotourism and discusses the place for hunting in saving Africa's wildlife. Probably nothing that people here don't fundamentally understand, but it provides an underpinning of factual support.
