It's amazing the idiots commenting on the article page. I guess no one has a right to defend their family or property. It's sad this 17 year old is going to have to deal with things because of a drugged out, would be intruder.

Classic case of close minded idiots who cannot see any other side of the story except the liberal one. What if said attacker had made it into the house and killed all the residents? The same idiots would be defending him then and a family would be dead. It never ceases to amaze me how many people are oblivious.
