I hate the pop ups too. Adblock plus did not work for me. Same old chit. Then try ADBLOCK PLUS Pop-Up ADDON 0.8

I just installed adfender, and it worked for internet explorer/windows 7. No more banner adds and the pages load very fast. I was so sick of the adds, covering the posts and the slow page loads, I had stopped coming here.

I don't like it, but at least now it seems most are no longer the "doubleclick adds" that stop the back button. That was really annoying and would have been a deal breaker for me. Websites cost money and so does server space and maintenance. It is reality in the real world.

I installed an AD blocker and it works fine with no pop ups now.

I have not seen any pop ups while using my cell phone lately. Knock on wood! they seem to be gone from my phone also, double crossed fingers.

Well I am convinced that the pop-up ad on the bottom of the page has completely ruined the classified section of this site. That's just dumb...
