Rained here at 10 pm and again at 2:30 am when I was watering corn and hay.

Been up all night so now it's to sleep.

Good mornin' all.

Trees are shredded purt good, but are basically Ok. The garden is destroyed. Onions are just laying on top of the rows it washed so hard. I have standing water in places that have never been wet. The surprising thing is, the road in didn't wash out this time. A rain 2 summers ago took the culverts about 300 yds downstream. Last 2 summers I've hired a kid to clean up all the down timber and branches at the crick bottom. I reckon having the bottom look like a city park, saved our road as there was no wood to wash down and dam up the bridge....

oh. the only critters out this am, was deer...

That sucks Don. Cleaning up after a flood and fixing fence is a chitty job.

Send that stick picker up here, he could make a career out of it.

the kid is off to collitch this fall. I don't reckon there is anymore manual labor in his future...... Off to fix the north water gap before the heifers find the hole. It WILL suck to fix fence in knee deep water.....

Training my son to be the next DigitalDan! That way when I'm old I can sit around and listen to his stories...

He can fly the thing, but landing's are a bit rough yet... laugh

Profoundly pleased to see it is not a model of some archaic fixed wing such as the B2 or F35. His future's so bright he's gonna need shades.

It's a fun little thing to play with. Makes me shudder at the thought of trying to actually fly a real one.

Barbed wire and sheet metal.
Messin' with either one, I know I'm gonna bleed.

I hardly ever bleed from edged tools, but random sharps, phouc if I ain't left DNA all over the planet.

On a brighter note, learn here why talking to women is difficult.
