Have a custom Kimber heading this way and could use some load help.

Can't help on the loads, but tell me about the reamer? Who has it?

Work was done in Montana for the original owner-I'll ask about the reamer.

I have one, and so does a friend. His is on a Rem action with a Lilja 26" 3-wt barrel, and here are some of his loads:
100 Part 64 R22 3640 FPS groups 110 AB/ 63.2 R22 3550 .490 group 100 Barnes TS /63.2 IMR 7828/ 3650 .625 group 117 Hornady SST/ 61 IMR 7828/ 3527 group
I've just started shooting mine, which is on a Rem action with a 24" Lilja 2-wt barrel. So far it prefers RL22 and either 60 or 61 gr with a 110 Accubond. I haven't chrono'd it yet, nor have I played with seating depth nor turned the necks yet. Min e doesn't like 4831 nor does it like 115 Ballistic Tips so far. But it's still a baby, unlike me.
I have a Mauser-based 25-06 improved that has seen lots of use for the last 35 years, on OR blacktail, AZ whitetail, and javelina, and I'm looking at the 25 short mag as a lighter version of that rifle. I'll probably use it this fall for OR blacktail.
Incidentally, I've shot quite a few deer with the 25-16 with both 115 BT's and 115 partitions; all but one flopped on the spot. The best one, a 17 1'8" 9 pt (two brow tines on one side)AZ whitetail at 385 yards, went down so fast after the shot that I lost him in the scope for a few seconds, and when I spotted him I thought maybe he's bedded down! He's on my wall now.

Can I neck down 270 WSM brass? Not sure of any other better way! This is one of my top wildcat rounds that should go into commercial production along with the 6.5-06 the 25 souper

Thanks for the loads jmbn. RL-22 and 7828 are hard to come by up here right now so I'm stuck with 4350 and 4831. Have some Retumbo but haven't tried it yet. Some photos: 26" SS #2 Lilja

Reviving this thread to see if anyone has loads for 120Gr Partitions. Starting/Max loads with IMR 7828, RL-22, RL-25, Retumbo, H4350 or IMR4350 if you've got some would be appreciated.
