I had a Leupold 10 X 25 double jointed binocular.....It was a fine instrument but the front objective covers came off and Leupold had discontinued that model.

They emailed me with a proposal to replace the set I had with a new 10 X 32 Katmai and they showed up today ....and yes...no charge.....now that's some company!

Thanks Leupold!

My dad has a set of those old binos somewhere and I have been searching for them so I can do the same thing. Wish I knew where they are

I'd also like to give a plug for Leupold, because for our veteran rifle projects they donated a couple of customized scopes for veterans... one they donated out right and the other had already been donated by a fellow forum member... a Redfield, but they took it in their custom shop and customized it for us anyway...

both units had 24 hour campfire on it with the logo from the website and also both of them had the names of the recipients engraved on them...

When these threads occur about other brands being better than Leupolds.. I have to admit, I don't listen to them much... because of stuff like this that Leupold does....

Super First Rate company to do business with...they sure have my loyalty..

I agree, I'm not sure they have the best glass and yada yada but they do what they are intended to do and stand behind their product like no other. I'm honestly working my way to having only Leupold optics.

JOC was right. The 270 Winchester on a Model 70 is a great combination as is the 30/06 and 375 H&H

Recently sent an M8-6X Compact to Leupold for repair.

They said the front lens needed to be replaced but they did not have any more.

So they are sending me a new FX-3 6X42 as a replacement.

Such outstanding customer service is typical of Leupold and it deserves to be mentioned again.

It's getting more and more difficult to buy anything but a Leupold product. Superb initial quality and unmatched customer service.

Steve
