No argument here, except on choke, but only because I've read and been told repeatedly that slugs through a full choke can lead to bad things happening...

Probably a bit heavy, but I could live with it.

(Especially if I could keep the additional muzzleloading barrel!) If big game hunting were off the table I'd settle on the .22 marlin 39M just for sentimental reasons.
