Does anyone know if you can load AA8700 powder into nato 308 , 30 06 and 30 30 rounds or is it to slow of a powder.
I have a bunch of the stuff to load my 50 BMG rounds and would like to know with out blowing my self up if it is compatible with these rounds. I have 3 books and there is no reference with these calibers.
That right there probably answers my question but can it be used.

Blowing yourself up is not likely, but BP velocities would likely exceed what you are going to get with 8700. AA's web site will give load data for at least the 06. May be under western Powder now. Do a google search for AA8700 load data and the site should pop up in the list. Oh heck, here it is http://www.accuratepowder.com/ Good luck Great shootin!

Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money but we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money. What's interesting is the first group WORKED for their money but the other group didn't.

I knew I had this laying around somewhere. Swifty hooked me up with this and it is the older accurate manual that lists a lot of options. http://pdf.textfiles.com/manuals/FIREARMS/2003guide.pdf

My 7 MM Rem mag loves the H 870 only powder I can reach book velocity with. Supposed to work well with 25-06 120 gr loads.
