Anyone done any "roadside" fishing in the NWT? I'm thinking about a road trip, maybe northern B.C. also. Any places I need to try? Thanks.

Scott, It is off the beaten path, but some years ago I caught some really nice grayling near Atlin, B.C. at the outlet of Surprise Lake. It is reportedly the site of a previous world-record grayling, locals say there are sonar blips in there that look like some big grayling. Fish the outlet stream with a red-butted brown wooly worm. Loads of fun and the people are very hospitable as most are in western Great White North.
