1984 was the last I recall like this. Summer Olympics in LA were sunny and 80 while we had 84 and rain like this.
"The Democrat Party looks like Titanic survivors. Partying and celebrating one moment, and huddled in lifeboats freezing the next". Hatari 2017
"Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid." Han Solo

I saw on the news last night that yesterday's high temp was average for mid-November, not mid August. This is the coolest, wettest Summer I can remember. Even on the hottest days we have been opening up the windows and turning off the AC at bedtime. Not turning the AC back on till around 3-4 PM most days. I've only had to run the AC 24 hours straight 4-5 days all summer. We've been able to go 4-5 days at a stretch several times with no AC at all.

Most people don't really want the truth.
They just want constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth.

HotLanta set a record for lowest high temp the other day, at 73F.
Florida, on the other hand, is roasting.

Hey, I like it except for the humidity being so high. The temps are just puuuuuuuuuurrrrrfffect! A/C isn't running me broke at all and I don't need to turn on the heat, so I'm happy as a clam!Uhhh, Pick your own 'type' of clam, too!

the lake in the back yard was down 12" this time last year, it is full to the brim or over flowing this year. At the Burke county farm last year 2 of our spring fed ponds were bry last yrat are completely full this year. On the flip side bugs are as bad as I have ever seen them.
With dove season only 3 weeks away I might break out a jacket for opening day.
