I got a nice velvet covered 8 point this morning on opening day of Maryland archery season.I am just doing a scull mount.Is there anything I need to do to preserve the velvet? Thanks, Joe

Congratulations. I could have hit a pair of forkhorns in velvet on my way to work this morning. Is that the same thing?
